Connecting X lets the Social agent publish tweets and read engagement back, as part of the cross-channel Social surface.

What it unlocks

  • Native posting — approved posts publish to X via the native v2 API.
  • Engagement metrics — impressions, likes, reposts, and replies flow into per-post metrics on the Social surface.
  • Cross-posting — compose once, fan out to X alongside LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.

Connecting

X connects through OAuth under Settings → Integrations, per-brand. Mesh Pilot requests the scopes needed to post and to read post analytics.

Where data flows

  • Cockpit → X: only approved posts (or auto-published ones under a social autonomy threshold).
  • X → cockpit: post performance synced on a schedule for the Social surface’s metrics.
